The Lord’s Call 주님의 부르심

Good morning, everyone.
여러분 안녕하세요?

My name is Seung-sun Lee from Calvary Baptist Church in Ilsan.

저는 일산 갈보리침례교회에서 온 이승선 형제라고 합니다.

You can just call me Robin.
영어 이름은 로빈이라고도 합니다.

This is my first time to meet all of you today. Also, this is my first time to preach in English.

제가 오늘 여러분을 처음 뵙게 되었고, 또 영어로 말씀을 전하는 것도 처음입니다.

Since my English is very poor, I'll just read my prepared text.

제가 영어가 많이 부족하기 때문에 이렇게 준비한 설교문을 그대로 읽을 예정인데요.

I’ll read sentence by sentence, first in English then in Korean.

한번은 영어, 한번은 한글로 읽을텐데요.

It might be confusing many times when I read these two languages one at a time, so please pray for me.
제가 이렇게 번갈아서 두 가지를 다 읽다보면 헤매게 될 텐데요, 저를 위해 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

I'm a student of Seoul Baptist Bible College and I'll graduate next summer.

저는 서울침례신학교 학생이구요, 내년 여름에 졸업할 예정입니다.

We study at night so it's very tiring.
저희 신학교는 밤에 공부하기 때문에 상당히 피곤합니다.

During the daytime I work at my church.
낮에는 저희 교회에서 일하고 있습니다.

My church is planning to start a Christian school so please pray for the Ministry of Christian Education. 저희 교회는 기독교대안학교를 준비하고 있습니다. 교육사역을 위해서 기도해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.

We will open the school next March and I'll be there as a mentor teacher for students.

대안학교를 내년 3월에 시작할 예정이구요, 저는 학생들을 위한 상담 교사가 될 예정입니다.

At this time I'd like us to look at 1 Corinthians chapter 1.

이 시간 함께 살펴보실 하나님의 말씀은 고린도전서 1장입니다.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 9. 고린도전서 1장 9절 말씀을 읽어보겠습니다.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

By the grace of God, I’d like to share with you about this verse, entitling my message “The Lord’s Call.” 이 말씀을 가지고 "주님의 부르심"이라는 제목으로 하나님의 은혜를 나누기 원합니다.

Let's pray.
잠시 기도하겠습니다. (기도)

Heavenly Father, we thank you for your amazing grace poured down upon us.

하늘의 하나님 아버지, 우리에게 부어주신 놀라운 은혜를 감사합니다.

Thank you for your warm and tender calling to us, us who are full of sins and iniquities.

죄와 불법으로 가득한 우리를 따듯하고 부드럽게 불러주신 주님께 감사합니다.

I'm nothing and I can't do anything without you, Lord.

저는 아무것도 아니며, 주님 없이는 아무것도 할 수 없습니다.

Please fill me with the Holy Spirit at this time, and help us to learn your Word.

저를 성령으로 충만케 하시고, 우리가 주님의 말씀을 잘 배울 수 있도록 도와주시기 원합니다.

Opening 들어가는 말

Today we are living in a bustling and busy world.

오늘 우리는 바쁘고 정신없는 세상을 살아가고 있습니다.

How short a day is---only 24 hours.
하루 24시간이 얼마나 짧은지요.

It seems like just a second ago I went to bed, but now it is morning.

잠깐 눈만 감았다 뜨면 아침이 밝아오구요.

Other times it seems like I have just rubbed my eyes and started my day, but then it becomes night so quickly. 눈을 비비고 일어나서 생활하다보면 어느새 밤이 됩니다.

I feel like it was just yesterday that I entered Bible College, but 3 years have already passed by.

어제 신학교에 입학했던 것 같은데 벌써 3년이 지나버렸습니다.

I hope that during this time of service, we can come out of our busy lives for a while, and listen carefully to the Lord's calling.

오늘 우리는 잠시나마 바쁜 생활 가운데서 빠져나와서 주님의 부르심에 귀를 기울여보기 원합니다.

Let's take a look at the text again.
다시 한 번 본문의 말씀을 보시겠습니다.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

This verse is very short, though if we think of each of the words in it, we can find great mercy and grace.
이 구절은 매우 짧지만, 이 구절에 사용된 각 단어를 깊이 있게 생각할 때 우리에게 큰 은혜가 있을 것입니다.

I hope that the Lord gives us clean hearts and minds, and we focus on the word of God now.

주님께서 이 시간, 우리에게 맑은 마음과 생각을 주셔서 오직 이 말씀에만 집중할 수 있도록 해주시기 원합니다.

"ye" "너희를"

First of all, I'd like us to think about the word "ye".

저는 먼저 "너희를"이라는 단어를 살펴보기 원합니다.

I'd like to think about that from what position we were called.

우리가 어떤 위치에서 부르심을 받았는지 생각해 보기 원합니다.

Originally, we humans were made in the image of God to have fellowship with God.

원래 우리 사람은 하나님과 교제하기 위하여 하나님의 형상대로 만들어졌습니다.

God, who is without beginning or end, has nothing lacking; He is perfect.
시작도 없고 끝도 없는 영원하신 하나님께서는 아무것도 부족함이 없는, 그분 자체로 완전하신 분이십니다.

God doesn't make people labor in a hard and difficult way,

하나님께서는 힘들고 어려운 노동을 시키기 위해 사람을 창조하지 않으셨습니다.

Neither does He demand offerings of things He doesn’t have.

또 하나님께서 가지지 못한 어떤 것을 바치도록 요구하기 위함도 아니었습니다.

But God, in whom is self-sufficient without lacking anything, willing to give and give of His abundant love, made humans.
다만 모든 것에서 스스로 만족하시고 아무것도 부족함이 없으신 하나님께서는 넘치는 사랑을 주고 또 주시려고 사람을 만드셨습니다.

He made humans in His image, to think and speak like Him, as objects of love in order to have fellowship.
하나님 자신의 모습을 따라, 자신과 같이 생각하고 말하며 교제할 수 있는 사랑의 대상으로 사람을 만드셨습니다.

God gave man every fruit in the Garden of Eden to eat freely, except the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil.
하나님께서는 사람에게 에덴동산에서 선악과를 제외한 모든 열매를 마음대로 먹을 수 있도록 해주셨구요.

God gave man authority to have dominion over all creation on the earth.

땅 위의 모든 창조세계를 다스릴 수 있는 권위도 주셨습니다.

God made the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the Garden of Eden, and said, “Thou shalt not eat of it.”

그리고 하나님께서는 선악과를 에덴동산 중앙에 두시고 그것을 먹지 말라고 말씀하셨습니다.

The reason was not because the fruit was too precious that God wanted to eat of it alone.

그 이유는 선악과가 너무 아까워서 하나님이 혼자 드시려고 그런 것이 아닙니다.

Neither was it because the fruit was too hard to make even with the power of God.

선악과는 하나님의 능력으로도 만들기가 너무 힘들기 때문도 아니었습니다.

But it was so that man would humbly remember God who is the Master of all things, and give thanks to Him.

다만 사람이 겸손하게 모든 것의 주인이 되시는 하나님을 기억하고 감사하도록 하기 위함이었습니다.

Mankind was the king of the whole creation on the earth.

사람은 이 땅의 모든 창조세계를 다스리는 왕이었습니다.

But he would need to remember the highest authority---God.

그러나 사람 위에는 가장 높은 권위이신 하나님이 계시다는 것을 기억했어야 합니다.

But, unfortunately, man committed a crime against God.

그러나 너무나 안타깝게도 사람은 하나님을 거역하여 죄를 지었습니다.

Because of this sin, the fellowship between God and humankind was broken.

이 죄로 인하여 하나님과 사람 사이의 교제가 끊어지고 말았습니다.

Isaiah chapter 59 verse 1 and 2 says this, 이사야 59장 1절과 2절은 이렇게 말씀합니다.

Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
보라, 주의 손이 짧아져서 구원하지 못하는 것도 아니요, 그분의 귀가 둔하여서 듣지 못하는 것도 아니라. 오직 너희 불법들이 너희와 너희 하나님 사이를 갈라놓았고 너희 죄들이 그분의 얼굴을 너희에게 숨겼으므로 그분께서 듣지 아니하시리라.

We all are sinners, born as sinners, living in iniquity, and entered into the eternal destruction.

우리는 모두 죄인으로 태어나서 죄를 지으며 살다가 영원한 멸망으로 들어갈 수밖에 없는 죄인들이었습니다.

But God, with great mercy and love, sent his most beloved only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth, and died for us sinners.
그러나 사랑과 긍휼이 풍성하신 하나님께서는 자신의 가장 사랑하시는 독생자 예수 그리스도를 이 땅에 보내셔서 죄인인 우리를 위해 죽게 하셨습니다.

This is an amazing and marvelous love that I can't explain in words.

이것은 말로 다 표현할 수 없는 너무나 놀랍고 신기한 사랑입니다.

Humans made the problem, and God bears the damage and loss.

문제는 사람이 만들었는데, 손해는 하나님께서 담당하셨습니다.

Humans have sinned, but the Lord received the punishment.

죄는 우리가 지었는데, 형벌은 주님이 받으셨습니다.

God has come to us in our wandering lives, us who were living without knowing the true meaning of life.
하나님께서는 인생의 의미를 모르고 방황하던 우리들의 삶에 먼저 찾아오셨습니다.

And He has called us to show us where we need to go and for what we need to live.

또한 우리를 부르셔서 우리가 어떻게 살아야 할지, 무엇을 향해 걸어야 할지 보여주셨습니다.

If the Lord had not called us, we would still be wandering in this world, destined for hell.

주님이 우리를 먼저 부르시지 않았다면 우리는 아직도 이 세상을 방황하면서 지옥으로 달려가고 있었을 것입니다.

Let's turn to 1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 26 to 29.

고린도전서 1장 26절부터 29절까지 읽어보겠습니다.

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

26 형제들아, 너희를 부르신 것을 보라, 부르심을 받은 자로서 육체를 따라 지혜로운 자가 많지 아니하고 강한 자가 많지 아니하며 고귀한 자가 많지 아니하도다.

27 그러나 하나님께서 지혜로운 자들을 당황하게 하려고 세상의 어리석은 것들을 택하시고 하나님께서 강한 것들을 당황하게 하려고 세상의 약한 것들을 택하시며

28 하나님께서 있는 것들을 쓸모없게 하려고 세상의 천한 것들과 멸시받는 것들을 택하시고 참으로 없는 것들을 택하셨나니

29 이것은 어떤 육체도 자신 앞에서 자랑하지 못하게 하려 하심이라.

According to what kind of standard has God called us?

하나님께서는 어떤 기준으로 우리를 부르셨습니까?

God hasn't called us because we are wise or nice.

하나님께서는 우리가 멋있고 똑똑해서 부르신 것이 아닙니다.

God has called us because we are weak and foolish, so therefore, we need God.

너무 약하고 어리석어서 하나님을 필요로 하기 때문에 우리를 불러 주셨습니다.

Sometimes, we get depressed and discouraged because we are very weak and foolish.

우리는 때때로 우리 자신이 너무 어리석고 약해서 낙담하고 절망할 때가 있습니다.

How nice it would be if I were somewhat smarter!
"내가 조금만 더 똑똑했으면 얼마나 좋았을까"

But we can listen to God's calling because we are weak and foolish.

그러나 우리가 어리석고 약했기 때문에 우리는 하나님의 부르심을 들을 수가 있었습니다.

If we were prospering in this world, we couldn't hear the calling of the Lord.

만약 우리가 이 세상에서 잘나가는 사람들이었다면 우리는 주님의 부르심을 듣지 못했을 것입니다.

This world loves strong and mighty people.
이 세상은 강하고 능력 있는 사람들을 좋아합니다.

It never calls nor befriends the weak and foolish ones.

약하고 어리석은 사람들은 불러주지도 않고, 함께 어울리려고 하지도 않습니다.

However, our God is totally different.
그러나 우리 하나님은 완전히 다릅니다.

God leaves strong and mighty people alone, and calls us who are weak and foolish.

강하고 능력 있는 사람들은 내버려두시고 오히려 약하고 어리석은 우리들을 불러주셨습니다.

If God had said "Come unto me, all ye that are mighty and smart," then I could not have come anywhere near the Lord.
만약 하나님께서 "능력 있고 지혜로운 자들아 다 이리오라"라고 말씀하셨다면 저는 주님 근처에도 가지 못했을 것입니다.

But the Lord said "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden."

그러나 주님께서는 "수고하고 무거운 짐진 모든 자들아, 너희는 내게로 오라."하고 부르셨습니다.

Thank God that He first called us.
우리를 먼저 불러주신 하나님께 감사합니다.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

"unto the fellowship" "교제하게 하시는"

Our text says that God called us unto the fellowship of Jesus Christ.

우리의 본문 말씀은 하나님께서 우리를 예수 그리스도의 교제로 부르셨다고 말씀하십니다.

The purpose of God's calling is fellowship with the Lord.

하나님께서 우리를 부르신 목적은 주님과의 교제입니다.

We know our Lord's name is Jesus. He is also called by another name---“Immanuel.”

우리는 주님의 이름을 알고 있는데 바로 예수님이구요, 또한 "임마누엘"입니다.

Immanuel is a Hebrew word meaning "God with us".

"임마누엘"은 히브리말인데 이 말의 뜻은 "우리와 함께 하시는 하나님"입니다.

How much God wants to be with us, so much so that He manifested Himself in the flesh and made his name Immanuel.
하나님께서 얼마나 우리와 함께 하기 원하시는지, 사람이 되시면서 자신의 이름을 "임마누엘"이라고 지으셨을 정도입니다.

Mankind cannot live alone.
사람은 혼자서 살 수 없습니다.

Humans were made for fellowship with God.

사람은 하나님과 교제하기 위하여 만들어진 존재입니다.

A human can only have satisfaction and rest in his heart when he meets with God.

사람은 하나님과 만날 때만이 마음에 만족을 얻고 안식할 수 있습니다.

Many people don't know God, and they are trying to satisfy themselves with other people, not with God.
하나님을 모르는 많은 사람들은 하나님이 아닌 다른 사람들 가운데서 만족을 얻어보려고 노력합니다.

Some people have pets for their empty hearts.

어떤 사람들은 애완동물을 길러서라도 마음의 허전함을 채워보려고 합니다.

There is a huge hole in a person’s heart.
사람의 마음에는 커다란 구멍이 있습니다.

We can call it loneliness or a sense of loss, or other things like that.

우리는 그것을 상실감, 외로움 같은 많은 단어들로 표현할 수 있습니다.

Mankind’s heart, far from God because of sin, is without meaning, full of sorrow and loneliness.

죄로 인하여 하나님과 멀어진 사람의 마음은 뜻 모를 슬픔과 외로움으로 가득합니다.

People are trying to fill their heart with money or happiness in this world, but it is impossible to have perfect satisfaction.
사람들은 자신의 마음을 돈이나 쾌락이나 세상의 많은 것들로 채워보려고 하지만 그런 것으로는 절대 완전히 만족할 수 없습니다.

People can have perfect satisfaction and happiness only when they meet and have fellowship with God. 사람은 하나님을 만나고 교제할 때만이 만족할 수 있고 행복할 수 있습니다.

God’s calling for fellowship is like the story of the father who lost his son and found him again.

하나님께서 우리를 교제로 부르신 것은 마치 아들을 잃어버렸던 아버지가 아들을 다시 찾은 것과 같습니다.

And our meeting with the Lord is like meeting a good teacher.

또 우리가 주님과 만나는 것은 좋은 선생님을 만나는 것과도 같습니다.

In the Gospel of Matthew chapter 23 verse 8 it says, Christ is our only teacher.

마태복음 23장 8절에서는 그리스도께서 우리의 유일한 선생님이 되신다고 말씀해 주고 있습니다.

And our meeting with the Lord is like meeting a close friend.

또 우리가 주님과 만나는 것은 친한 친구를 만나는 것과 같습니다.

In the Gospel of John chapter 15, the Lord called us friends.

요한복음 15장에서 주님은 우리를 친구라고 부르셨습니다.

John chapter 15 verse 13 says, 요한복음 15장 13절은 이렇게 말씀합니다.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

사람이 자기 친구들을 위해 자기 생명을 버리면 이보다 더 큰 사랑이 없나니

Jesus is the best friend in the world.

예수님은 우리가 이 세상에서 만날 수 있는 가장 좋은 친구이십니다.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the best person we could ever imagine or want to find with whom to have fellowship.
우리 주 예수 그리스도께서는 사람들이 상상하고 찾고자 하는 가장 좋은 교제의 대상이십니다.

Sometimes like a father, sometimes like a teacher, sometimes like a friend, God is getting closer to us. 하나님께서는 때로는 아버지처럼, 때로는 선생님처럼, 때로는 친구처럼 우리에게 친근하게 다가오십니다.

We have received the Lord in our hearts.
우리는 이런 주님을 우리 마음 속에 모시고 있습니다.

The Lord said, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."(Heb. 13:5).

주님은 말씀하셨습니다. "내가 결코 너를 떠나지 아니하고 너를 버리지 아니하리라"(히 13:5).

This world is selfish and calculating.
이 세상은 이기적이고 계산적입니다.

Even our best friend leaves us when he suffers loss.

아무리 좋은 친구라도 손해를 입히면 떠나갑니다.

But our Lord willingly took the loss of His life, and became our friend.

그러나 우리 주님은 생명의 손해까지도 기꺼이 감당하시면서 우리의 친구가 되셨습니다.

We always make problems and do wrong things, even though the Lord always loves us with an unchanging love.

주님은 늘 변함없는 사랑으로 우리를 대하시지만, 우리는 늘 주님 앞에 잘못하고 문제를 일으킵니다.

We cannot find anyone like our Lord in this whole world.

우리는 이 세상 어디에서도 우리 주님과 같은 분을 결코 찾아볼 수 없습니다.

When nobody listens to me, Jesus pays attention to my every word.

아무도 나의 말을 들어주지 않을 때 예수님은 우리의 말을 끝까지 다 들어주십니다.

When nobody speaks to me, Jesus speaks to me always.

아무도 나에게 말을 걸어주지 않을 때 주님은 나에게 항상 말씀하십니다.

The reason why there's no joyfulness in our hearts, is that we are trying to find satisfaction among people, from other things in this world.
우리의 마음에 기쁨이 충만하지 못한 이유는 이 세상의 다른 것들 속에서, 다른 사람들 속에서 만족을 얻으려 하기 때문입니다.

Like the woman of Samaria who met the Lord and a river of life came from her heart, though she felt no thirst; even so, our hearts need to be filled with Jesus Christ our Lord.

사마리아의 여인이 주님을 만나게 되었을 때 마음 속에서부터 생수의 강이 흘러넘쳐서 더 이상 갈증을 느끼지 않은 것처럼, 우리의 마음도 주 예수님으로 가득 채워져야 합니다.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

"God is faithful" "하나님은 신실하시도다"

God is faithful.
하나님은 신실하십니다.

Faithful means trustworthy and reliable.

"신실하다"는 말은 쉽게 말하자면 "신용이 좋다", "믿을 만하다" 그런 뜻입니다.

Our God is faithful and we can trust Him.
우리 하나님은 신실하시고, 믿을 만한 분이십니다.

The most important thing when we have fellowship with someone is that we trust one another.

우리가 사람들끼리 관계를 맺고 교제하는 가운데서 가장 중요한 것은 서로 간의 신뢰입니다.

If someone often lies or breaks promises, we don't want to meet that person anymore.

누군가가 자꾸 거짓말을 한다거나 약속을 어긴다면 우리는 그 사람과 더 이상 만나기를 싫어할 것입니다.

Because he is not faithful.
왜냐하면 그 사람은 신실하지 못하기 때문입니다.

The fellowship between God and us is based on the truth that God is faithful.

우리와 하나님의 교제는 하나님께서 신실하시다는 사실을 근거로 합니다.

Our God that we believe in never changes and always keeps His word.

우리가 믿는 하나님은 영원토록 변하지 않으시고 말씀하신 것을 반드시 지키는 분이십니다.

Even when we don't remember God and live the way we want to live, God still loves us as much as ever.
우리가 하나님을 기억하지 않고 마음대로 살아갈 때조차 하나님은 우리를 변함없이 사랑하십니다.

We live by our greed and get into trouble---then we find God.

우리는 우리의 욕심을 따라 마음대로 살아가다가 어려움이 닥칠 때에야 비로소 하나님을 찾습니다.

Then God feels pity for us disgusting fellows.

하나님께서는 그러한 우리조차 불쌍히 여기시며 도와주십니다.

In the fellowship between people, character is very important.

사람들과의 교제에는 나의 성품이 매우 중요합니다.

We can lose good friends because of our bad temper.

우리는 자신의 나쁜 성질 때문에 좋은 친구를 잃을 수도 있습니다.

But the fellowship between God and us is not dependent upon our character but upon God's faithfulness.
그러나 하나님과의 교제에는 나의 어떠함이 아니라 하나님의 신실하심에 달려있습니다.

God calls us any time, in any condition, in any position, just as we are.
하나님께서는 우리가 어떠한 상태에 있든지, 어떠한 모습을 하든지 있는 모습 그대로 나아오라고 말씀하십니다.

We shouldn’t try to disguise ourselves or try to cover up something.

우리는 아무것도 꾸미거나 가릴 필요가 없습니다.

If we are weak, we should just admit we are weak. If we are foolish, then we are foolish.

약하면 약한 대로, 못나면 못난 대로 그대로 나아가면 되는 것입니다.

If anyone thinks that he can have fellowship with God because of his own righteousness and holiness, then he is sadly mistaken.
만약 누군가가 자신이 의롭고 거룩했기 때문에 하나님과 교제할 수 있다고 생각한다면 그것은 큰 착각입니다.

There is always only one basis on which to come to God, and that is by our crucified Lord Jesus and His blood and nothing else.
우리가 언제든지 하나님께 나아갈 수 있는 유일한 근거는 우리를 위해 십자가에 못 박히신 주 예수님과 그분의 피 밖에는 없습니다.

When we come to God by the name of Jesus, God always accepts us faithfully.

우리가 예수님의 이름으로 하나님께 나아갈 때 하나님은 신실하게 우리를 언제나 받아주십니다.

Let's turn to 1 John chapter 1 verse 9. 다 같이 요한일서 1장 9절을 보시겠습니다.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

만일 우리가 우리의 죄들을 자백하면 그분께서는 신실하시고 의로우사 우리의 죄들을 용서하시며 모든 불의에서 우리를 깨끗하게 하시느니라.

We have already been forgiven of all our sins and have been saved from hell by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

우리는 이미 주 예수 그리스도의 피로 모든 죄를 용서받고 지옥으로부터 구원을 받은 사람들입니다.

So, the phrase “confess our sins” in this verse isn't talking about salvation from hell but for fellowship with God after we are saved.
여기 요한일서 1장 9절에 나오는 죄들의 자백은 지옥으로부터 구원을 받기 위한 것이 아니라, 우리를 구원하신 하나님과 교제하기 위한 것입니다.

Any time and in any condition, if we come by the name of the Lord Jesus and confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us.
하나님께서는 우리가 언제 어떤 상태에서라도 주 예수님의 이름으로 나아가 우리의 죄들을 자백할 때 그분께서는 신실하시고 의로우사 우리의 죄들을 용서하십니다.

There is no one who has the right qualifications to come to God.

하나님 앞에 나아갈 자격이 없는 사람은 존재하지 않습니다.

However great sinners we are, however poor or foolish we are, we all can meet God and have fellowship. 아무리 큰 죄인이라도, 아무리 천하고 못난 사람이라 할지라도 다 하나님을 만날 수 있고 교제할 수 있습니다.

For God is faithful and just. He certainly keeps His word.

하나님께서는 신실하시고 의로우사 자신의 말씀을 반드시 지키시기 때문입니다.

We can notice, then, that the Word of God is very simple and easy.

이 시간 우리가 함께 나눈 하나님의 말씀은 너무나 쉽고 간단합니다.

God wants to call us and have fellowship with us.

하나님께서 우리를 부르셔서 교제하기 원하신다는 것입니다.

Who we are?
우리는 어떤 사람들입니까?

We are weak and foolish sinners.
죄인이며 약하고 어리석은 사람들입니다.

We are lonely and solitary people.
혼자 있으면 외롭고 쓸쓸한 사람들입니다.

We are people who have huge holes in our hearts so even if we gain the whole world we cannot afford to fill our emptiness.

마음에 큰 구멍이 뚫려있어서 이 세상 전부를 가진다할지라도 채울 수 없는 공허한 사람들입니다.

The God of Glory has found us and called us first.

이러한 우리들을 영광의 하나님께서 먼저 찾아오시고 불러주셨습니다.

God didn't say, "Come unto me, all ye rich and wealthy people."

하나님께서는 “부자들에 내게로 오라.”라고 말씀하지 않으셨습니다.

Neither did He say, "Come unto me, anyone who can run 100 meters in 10 seconds."

"100미터 달리기 10초 안에 들어오는 자들아 내게로 나아오라." 하지도 않으셨습니다.

His calling was unconditional, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden."

주님의 부르심에는 조건이 없었습니다. "수고하고 무거운 짐진 모든 자들아, 너희는 내게로 오라."

It is an amazing and marvelous love that the Lord of the whole universe has shown unto us by calling weak and foolish ones like us.
온 우주의 통치자께서 우리같이 약하고 어리석고 없는 자들을 불러주신 것은 놀랍고 신기한 사랑입니다.

God called us unto fellowship with Him.

하나님께서는 우리를 부르시되, 하나님 자신과의 교제 안으로 부르셨습니다.

In the beginning, humans were made for fellowship with God, but because of sin that relationship was broken.
사람은 원래 하나님과 교제하도록 만들어진 존재이지만, 죄로 인하여 하나님과의 관계가 끊어지고 말았습니다.

God wanted to reconcile this fellowship, so He came down in human form to this earth.

하나님께서는 이 교제를 회복하시고자 이 땅에 사람의 몸을 입고 내려오셨습니다.

Jesus bore all our sins and judgment on our behalf.

예수님께서는 사람의 대표로서 모든 사람의 죄를 지고 심판을 담당하셨습니다.

Our Lord has promised that He will come into anyone’s heart who receives Him, and He will stay with him forever.
우리 주님은 그분을 영접한 모든 사람들의 마음 안에 들어오셔서 영원히 함께 하신다고 약속하셨습니다.

We have the best friend in the world dwelling within our hearts.

오늘 우리는 이 세상에서 만날 수 있는 최고의 친구를 마음에 모시고 있습니다.

The way to have the most joy and happiness is to have fellowship with the Lord

주님과 교제하는 것은 우리의 인생에서 가장 기쁘고 행복한 일입니다.

God is faithful who has called us unto fellowship.

우리를 교제 안으로 부르신 하나님은 신실하신 분입니다.

Our fellowship with the Lord doesn't depend on ourselves.

하나님과 우리의 관계는 나에게 달려있지 않습니다.

It depends on the faithfulness of God.

우리와 하나님과의 교제는 하나님의 신실하심에 달려있습니다.

We can always come to our God confessing our sins, and trust the blood of Jesus Christ.

우리는 언제라도 하나님 앞에 자백하며 예수 그리스도의 피를 의지하여 가까이 나아갈 수 있습니다.

The reason our lives are so dry and joyless is because we don't have right fellowship with God.

우리의 삶이 메마르고 기쁨이 없는 이유는 우리가 하나님과 교제하지 않기 때문입니다.

When we walk and have fellowship with God every day, our lives are full of joy and thanksgiving.

우리가 날마다 하나님과 동행하며 교제하게 될 때 우리의 삶은 풍요로워지고 언제나 기쁨과 감사로 가득할 것입니다.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

너희를 부르사 자신의 아들 예수 그리스도 우리 주와 교제하게 하시는 하나님은 신실하시도다.

I hope God blesses all of us here and leads us unto close fellowship with the Himself every day.

하나님께서 이곳에 모인 우리 모두에게 복 주시고 날마다 더 친밀한 주님과 교제로 이끌어 주시기를 원합니다.
